❄️ Vintage Computing Christmas Challenge 2025 (VC³ 2025) ❄️

A small programming contest during December 2025 starting from 1.12.2025.

 

The POST challenge is open now. If you were late or if you did and improved version of your program, you can now upload it here. The post challenge will be open until All Saints 2026 again (1st November 2026).

The Main Challenge (Compo)

This year it's a snowflake composed out of several characters.

   

The only characters used is star (*).
The shape is symmetric. In the video there is one extra star on the right. Ignore it. It is a left over from copying the shape.

Wild Category

If you got motivated to something different as above, this might be for you...

• Be wild/creative and do something similar or totally different ;-)
• It just should be about Christmas, obviously. 
• Pictures, demos, extended versions of the main category, etc.
• No count restrictions in this case.
• No strict rules.

Submissions are to be announced.

  • You can submit standard size coding entries for the main compo here.
  • Remove your entries here in order to re-upload/update them (remember: 1 version per machine/language combination)
  • Updating via e-mail is NOT supported. Use the method mentioned above.

Prizes

Upon the release of the results, one digital copy of BrewOtaku (current issue) will be provided to each contestant.

Winner of the Commodore categories will get an issue of the K&A plus magazine (PDF) from Komoda & Amiga. 

The best Commodore entry will get a game!
